Special features of the organization

A group of dedicated social workers and community activists established AF in the year 2005 aiming to improve the socio-economic conditions of most disadvantaged population particularly of sexual minorities, marginalised woman, children and the unemployed youths in both rural and urban areas in Maharashtra through implementing program interventions in the fields of HIV prevention and care, poverty alleviation, non-formal education, adult literacy, health and nutrition, family planning.
