Training and Teaching

Designing and executing orientation programs for sales teams

Conducting onboarding training sessions for new hires

Acting as a consultant to salespeople for challenges they face on the job

Primary Responsibilities include

•Deliver a structured induction programme to each group of youth starting on the LaQshya programme.
•Deliver Sports for Development activities to youth using BKWF curriculum and in house resources to engage youth successfully and enhance their learning.
•Lead all training in the district for the BKWF LaQshya programme, which delivers skill training to youth and supports them into jobs and further education placements.
•Deliver training content developed by BKWF national Programme Development Team and tailor this where necessary to the local context whilst ensuring session outcomes are delivered.
•Ensure training outcomes are achieved in each session and youth receive consistent messages throughout all training interventions.
•Design an effective LaQshya Centre training timetable with the Assistant Manager LaQshya and ensure that this is constantly monitored and updated to enable youth to access the training they need.
•Apply and continuously develop innovative training techniques to make training more effective, fun and interactive.
•Engage and motivate youth positively at all times ensuring youth are aware of their weekly timetables and attend the correct sessions.
•Deliver a sharp focus on all training contributing to youth’s ability to take up work, training or further education and being able to sustain these for 6 months.
•Contribute to mapping institutions (government / NGO/ private and corporate foundations) that provide skills training opportunities in the local areas.
•Identify and respond to risks that could lead to youth dropping out of the programme.
•Build strong and trusted relationships with youth from the start of their engagement with BKWF.
•Work with colleagues at district and regional level to continuosly improves the quality of BKWF LaQshya programme and ensures our work is always safe and enjoyable for youth.
•Undertake data collection and reporting duties that demonstrate the effectiveness and impact of training.
•Act as a role model at all times demonstrating behaviour that displays the characteristics youth should develop to be successful in their chosen field.

Desired Competencies:
•Build positive relationships with youth and motivate individuals to achieve defined targets of taking up work or further education.
•Conduct a Excellent communicator and trainer who can lead structured sessions and ensure that training outcomes are achieved.
•Follow processes correctly and use BKWF specific tools and methods of working consistently.
•Excellent team worker with strong oral and written communication skills including good level of professional Hindi and English.
•attitude and willingness to use own initiative to solve ground level problems
•organised working style with excellent time management skills

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Direct experience of delivering employability skills and life skills training and achieving positive outcomes with youth.

•Training session planning and design, applying core training content and building in elements to make training relevant to local context.

•Evaluating training effectiveness, creating evaluation processes and updating training methods and techniques according to findings.

•Creating and managing training timetables and schedules.

•Experience of providing guidance and support to youth on a range of development issues (desirable)

•Knowledge of Sports Development activities or experiential learning techniques (desirable)

•Experience of financial literacy training (desirable)

•Knowledge of Basic Computer and English Speaking Skills

Currently we are running 5 Contact Point where some children are attending the formal classes in their slum are place in Delhi slums area.we are focusing on slums children which are not going to any formal school lack of many Personal or other circumstances from the family but lack of Fund issue we are unable to help of these street & working children at huge level.

Second, we are running skill development project to develop and trained to youth for job purpose by using own module:

1) Life skills session for personality development improvement.
2) individual Counselling about to know more about youth and suggest better about their aspiration
3) IT and English training with own curriculum
4) Conduct campus Interview and placement as youth aspiration
5)Post placement tracking.
