Teaching Trainer Bhumi 2023

About Job Profile

Training and Teaching

The trainer will be required to teach at least 3 sessions per day for a year.  The content and training will be provided. The trainer will also be implementing sustainable practices at the schools. 

Primary Responsibilities include

 

  • Onboarding schools and signing an MoU
  • Teach about environmental issues to school students as per the shared curriculum of the Eco-Champs projects 
  • Implement sustainable practices in the school as per the Eco-Champs outlines 
  • Impart Eco-friendly habits in students through pre-planned interactive sessions designed by the Eco-Champs program team. 
  • Maintain attendance records of the students who attended the schools 
  • Coordinating with Vendor for materials required for DIY materials of each school 
  • Nurture the curiosity of the students and encourage them to think creatively to solve Environment related problems outside the classroom. 
  • Form Eco-Clubs (optional as time permits)
  • Daily Work Hours 8 hrs a day, six days a week 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Good Communication 
  • Passion for teaching
  • Fluent with Tamil

 

Other Information:

  • Love for learning (lifelong learning) Strong interpersonal, communication and supervision Skills Good orientation of MS Office Good understanding of the pedagogical aspects involved in teaching children. 
  • Good people engagement, networking and listening skills. Ability to drive outcome-oriented plans through the team’s collective effort, Critical thinking and problem solving
