About Job Profile

Training and Teaching

A Teaching Associate must be enrolled in a CSU graduate degree program in the department in which they are employed and must be enrolled in courses towards the completion of that graduate degree during the TA appointment.

Under the direction of the Program Chair or designee, Teaching Associates teach university courses and may also assist faculty or teaching staff with various professional and technical activities.

Work assignments are closely associated with the academic program in which they are enrolled.

Primary Responsibilities include

Teaching

Teaching spoken English to secondary section in partner schools
Learning platform activities
Doing assessment and reviews through pre-test and post test

Documentation & Reporting

Follow all reporting systems strictly, daily/weekly/monthly
Maintain attendance and log sheets,
Maintaining and recording all data as per internal processes
Attending team meetings regularly

Relationship (Internal & External)

Maintain good rapport with school Student/ teachers and parents.
Very effective internal co-ordination, communication and ability to work as a member of large teams.

Training & Development

Contribute with ideas to improve teaching methodologies.
Participate in the regular training program organized for the team

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Other Information:

WORK SKILLS School related teaching experience preferable with primary school willing to travel to slum area schools

OTHER SKILLS Excellent English, Communication in local language, basic computer skills

ATTRIBUTES Creative, good communicator, patient, disciplined.
