About Job Profile

Project Management/Coordination

 

  • Act as an interface between the R&D and manufacturing teams.
  • Assist in pre-engineering, engineering, manufacturing, testing, and installation phases.
  • Act as a requirement manager for customer requirements.
  • Coordination with RDSO for specification & design approvals.
  • Define test protocol for type test, routine test, and field validation.

 

Primary Responsibilities include

 

  • Verification and Validation (V&V) of various telemetry engineering concepts in the locomotive environment.
  • Provide system training to various Railway customers and the mobility internal teams.
  • Provide techno-commercial support to the Bid management team.
  • Liaise with customers during the complete project cycle from design to warranty completion.
  • Ensure cost, quality, and time targets are met in the sourcing of the above components.
  • Address the warranty & AMC-related technical issues.
  • Meet with various Zonal Railways/ Locomotive Production units for business development.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Mustbe having strong knowledge of locomotive Air Brake systems (IRAB/E-70/CCB 1.0& 2.0).
  • Currentlyworking in the product development area in any of the above wireless products.
  • Shallhave a positive learning attitude.
  • Shouldknow the Indian Railway tendering & bidding processes.
