• Arrange meetings for the Startup Team, including site visits for potential office locations and housing options for long term expatriate staff.
• Schedule interviews for potential candidates for long term staff positions, including requesting references and follow ups to resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Arrange for local transportation for the Startup Team around Ramallah and surrounding areas, if needed.
• Identify communications providers for setting up operations.
• Identify vendors of office equipment and furniture and issue requisite request for quotes (RFQs).
• Work on draft Operations Manual for the program.
• Manage appointment schedule for interviews and meetings.
• Serve as a translator from Arabic to English, as needed.
• Perform other logistics tasks as requested.
   

• Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams required.
• Familiarity with project finance management, including financial controls, accounting, auditing, as well as reporting on accruals, pipelines and expenses required.
• Knowledge of USAID policies and business practices, and direct experience managing the finances and administration of a USAID-funded project are required.
• Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a stressful environment and with colleagues from different cultural and professional backgrounds required.
• Strong adaptability, communication, proactive problem-solving, service-oriented, and inter-personal skills required.
• Fluency in Arabic and proficiency in English required.
