Program Planning and Strategy Development:

• Lead the development and refinement of comprehensive strategies for Family Planning and Maternal Health programs.
• Identify key objectives, targets, and metrics to measure the impact and effectiveness of initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that the programs align with local needs, cultural sensitivities, and relevant policies.
• Technical and overall support in designing, planning, integration, and implementation of the programs across intervention states.

Program Management:

• Oversee the end-to-end program management process, including planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Establish clear timelines and deliverables, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
• Anticipate potential challenges and implement risk mitigation strategies to achieve successful outcomes.
• Work closely with the MoHFW and State management teams to develop, implement, and monitor state-specific program activities including the development of roadmaps, work plans, activities, reports, PIPs etc.
• Develop and produce documents like situation analysis reports, assessment reports, success stories, gap analysis plans, procurement plans etc. as per the program need and local context.
• Work with and supervise the State and District program coordinators in preparing a list of facilities and service providers in their respective districts for the provision of Family Planning / Maternal Health Services.
• Frequent travel to States/Districts for supportive supervision and to monitor the programs and provide appropriate technical guidance for improvements.

Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships:

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Key Stakeholders, Donor Agencies, Development Partners, Implementing Agencies, Healthcare Providers, and Community Leaders.
• Collaborate with partners to coordinate efforts, leverage resources, and maximize the impact of interventions.

Capacity Building and Training:

• Develop Training Materials and conduct Capacity-Building Sessions for Healthcare Professionals and Community Health Workers to improve Family Planning and Maternal Health Services.
• Promote evidence-based best practices and ensure knowledge dissemination among program participants.
• Supervise and monitor the district-level activities in coordination with stakeholders like ANMs, ASHAs, ASHA Nodal Officers, and FP/MH Counsellors in the intervention facilities to organize Family Planning / Maternal Health awareness drives for the clients at the relevant platforms.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Contributing to preparing National and State PIPs and budgets for FP and MH programmes.
• Support in the development and updating of Guidelines, TORs, Templates, Formats, and other related materials along with the Guidance Document related to FP and MH programs for respective States.
• Coordinate regular meetings of key strategic stakeholders & assist in inter-sectoral coordination for effective implementation of the National FP and MH programmes.
• Support in the finalization of reports for MoHFW and Donors.
• Any other support as and when required by MoHFW.

• Proven experience of 05-10 years working in similar roles, preferably in the development sector with a focus on Maternal Health and/or Family Planning.
• Relevant work experience in programmatic and data support functions will be an added advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into accessible content for various audiences.
• Prior working experience with Government will be an added advantage.
