• Overall handling of key tasks pertaining to study design and planning, data collection, data analysis and report writing in research studies
• Play a key role in developing Questionnaires and other tools to collect quantitative and qualitative data.
• Undertake and oversee data collection using different research tools, editing of raw data, transferring the data to relevant statistical packages, generating tables and graphs
• Undertake literature reviews.
• Responsible for training the field surveyors as per the requirement on conducting research at the field level.
• Analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data, presentation of the data to different groups
• Search, collate , organize and make accessible in searchable form secondary databases in different thematic areas.
• Provides support to different researchers of GRAAM in handling and analysing customized data.
• Communicates with team and external agencies regarding statistical analysis issues.
• Verify statistical programs, statistical results, and data sets used in statistical section of technical documents.
• Draft advocacy outputs like factsheets, executive notes and policy briefs
• To coordinate with other divisions of the organization in carrying out designated activities
• Develop and manage systems to handle and store research data in a secured and appropriate manner.

PhD/Post Graduate degree in Education/Gender Studies/Anthropology/ Public Policy/Economics/Public Health /Livelihood / Public Administration /Development Studies / or any of the Social Sciences or related academic discipline with proven relevant research experience of at least 5 years is must.
