Project Management/Coordination

CHRI is seeking a Senior Officer to lead all Communications and Knowledge Management activities for the City Climate-Health who will envision and execute strategic communications to external audiences and develop Knowledge Management products for positioning PATH/ CHRI and CCHA in the broader Climate-Health ecosystem in India. 

Primary Responsibilities include

Lead all external and donor communication to improve the visibility of CCHA’s activities and achievements:

• Lead the design and implementation of strategic communications & stakeholder engagement plans and activities to advance CCHA’s goals and build visibility of CCHA’s activities and achievements among target audiences.
• Conceptualize, develop, and lead CCHA’s positioning, priorities, and approaches in the Climate-Health ecosystem for engagement with external stakeholders across India.
• Identify the right external stakeholders (donors, governments, partners, communities, private sector, etc.) to engage/ position with and their needs.
• Develop and implement CCHA’s social media strategy as well as the launch and management of social media channels (Website, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Develop a branding marking plan and strategy for the CCHA including the alliance logo.
• Lead the development of communications including blogs, articles, press releases, emailers, and op-eds highlighting the needs in the Climate-Health ecosystem of India, CCHA’s activities, and CCHA’s achievements.
• Support in organizing key events of CCHA including launch, consultations, and dissemination events to showcase the work of CCHA among external stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment with USAID’s communications and branding marking guidelines and serve as focal point for USAID and partner communication teams.

 

Lead the design, development, and management of CCHA’s Knowledge Management products and platform:

• Design and develop approaches and products for Knowledge Management of CCHA activities and achievements.
• Ensure adherence to donor reporting norms and timely submission of the project progress reports or deliverable reports with optimal quality and in alignment with USAID’s communications and branding marking guidelines.
• Document and disseminate progress and achievements of CCHA and partners for dissemination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Conceptualize the CCHA Website and Knowledge Management platform and manage it on a day-to-day basis in partnership with an identified partner/ agency.
• Source knowledge and technical products from technical partners for hosting on CCHA’s Website and Knowledge Management platform.
• Manage workflows and timelines of external partners and agencies, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Manage CCHA’s Website and Knowledge Management platform ensuring all activities of the alliance as well as recent developments in the Climate-Health space are featured.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Prior work experience in USAID funded projects and/ or in the Climate Health space will be an added advantage.
  • Understanding of USAID branding marking and communications strategy will be an added advantage.
  • Previous experience of managing a website CMS and social media channels is preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and a good knowledge of Hindi.
  • Strong editing skills and ability to tailor communication materials for different audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to engage with multiple stakeholders including donors, alliance partners, corporates, service providers, communities and government officials at national/ state/ city level.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics and design.
  • Strong organizational skills to establish and maintain communications knowledge bank.
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), especially working with styles and templates.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks within stringent deadlines.
  • Ability to travel around 30% of the time to intervention geographies.
