Project Management/Coordination

Senior managers monitor the performance of the staff, improve operational strategies, identify business opportunities, allocate budgets and resources, present reports to senior management, set goals to drive results on increasing the company's revenues and profitability.
 

Primary Responsibilities include

This role will be responsible for driving improvement projects in order to achieve Cost Optimization through transportation cost reduction, consolidation of supplier, consolidation of parts, and standardization of processes/parts across BUs. 

  • Drive Cost reduction TCS (Transportation, Consolidation Standardisation) initiatives across plants across BU.
  • Monitor and update the progress to Sr. Management in GEAR format.
  • Identify of Gaps and delay proactively.
  • Conduct lever-wise workshop across plants for idea generation.
  • Evaluate technical commercial ideas for the generated ideas with relevant department.
  • Monitor Engineering releases PO releases wherever required.
  • Monitor trial and implementation of Ideas.
  • Horizontal deployment of Cost reduction ideas across plants.
  • Form CFT to drive the cross functional ideas.
  • Drive packaging improvements like returnable packaging across plants.
  • Identify the process gap and implement the suitable process.
  • Evaluate cost reduction proposal along with relevant department.
  • Support plant SPOC for idea certification with plant finance.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Operation Knowledge - process standardization, product knowledge.

2. Considerable diverse coordination skills.

3. Should possess business Knowledge, should be able to make business cases.

4. Ability to add value, reduce costs contribute in business improvements.

5. Experience in finance background.

6. Should possess transportation and packaging knowledge.
