About Job Profile

Training and Teaching

Oversee the execution of these trainings and capacity building plans, analyze relevant data to course correct and improve the design and execution of our capacity building plans, Support relevant data collection and analysis to course correct and improve the design and execution of capacity building plans.

Primary Responsibilities include

  • Review Pratham’s content, pedagogy, programmatic operations and policies to identify gaps and opportunities in making Pratham’s operations and approaches gender sensitive and gender-informed, and accordingly develop an approach and help to build capacities of key leadership and personnel across the organization,
  • Work with multiple departments to collate, review and strengthen content and curriculum as well as a pedagogical approach to meet the above-mentioned capacity-building needs,
  • Create, develop and mentor a cadre of trainers who can conduct these trainings with various teams across the organization,
  • Oversee the execution of these trainings and capacity building plans, analyze relevant data to course correct and improve the design and execution of our capacity building plans,
  • Support relevant data collection and analysis to course correct and improve the design and execution of capacity building plans
  • Design and oversee document processes and outcomes for the project
  • Play a key role in driving organizational efforts to integrate a gender lens in our content, programmatic approach of all our mainstream programs;
  • Engage in necessary discussions to influence mindsets and approaches and support building of capacities towards this goal;
  • Perform additional tasks, as required, by the management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Past experience and proven skills in training and capacity building of adult learners in a professional context, is preferable
  • Past experience in reviewing and analysing educational content
  • Proven experience in gender-sensitive program development, capacity building, and training
  • Understanding of gender equality, women’s empowerment, and related best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and build relationships
  • Ability to mentor and develop a team of trainers effectively
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
  • Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Passionate about promoting gender equality and social change through education
