Content Creation:

• Develop original and engaging content for various channels, including website, social media, email newsletters, press releases, and program documentation.
• Craft compelling narratives that convey the organization's mission, vision, and values, while effectively communicating complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
• Coverage of field projects by writing and editing reports/blogs; taking pictures and making photo blogs; conceptualising, scripting, shooting and editing short videos.

Editorial Planning:

• Collaborate with the communications team to plan and execute an effective content calendar aligned with organizational objectives and key events.
• Ensure a consistent brand voice and messaging across all communication channels.

Storytelling and Impact:

• Identify and gather compelling stories and testimonials from beneficiaries, volunteers, and donors to showcase the impact of our organization's work.
• Create powerful stories that resonate with our audience and inspire them to take action and support our cause.

Collaboration and Coordination:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure content is aligned with overall communication strategies.
• Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, and other content creators to develop multimedia content.

Exceptional writing skills with the ability to create engaging content that drives conversation and action.

Demonstrated understanding of various social media platforms, their unique audiences, and best practices for each.

Creative mindset and experience in visual content creation using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Mailchimp, Photoshop or similar software.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects and deadlines.

A genuine passion for the non-profit sector and a commitment to making a positive impact on the community and the world.

Strong understanding of various communication channels and how to tailor content for different audiences.

We believe a key component of communicating about Pratham’s work is forming a direct connection with our programs through on-ground visits. An ideal candidate would be willing and able to travel frequently across the country to visit our local programs.
