About Job Profile

Research and Field Work

Performs a variety of assays, tests, and studies of a routine nature. Performs calculations to complete research test results; collates data; performs statistical analysis of lab results and maintain notes and log or computer database; performs basic procedures for computer assisted data analysis.

Primary Responsibilities include

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Conduct literature review as required and perform secondary data analysis (HMIS, etc.) during the formative phase of the project.
• Lead the implementation of research activities in the field (Sonipat and Jodhpur).
• Train the field research staff for collection of data.
• Coordinate with the field research staff in Sonipat and Jodhpur on a daily basis and resolve issues arising within the team and/or in the field.
• Monitor the progress of data collection activities throughout the project, and update the supervisors on overall progress of the project.
• Liaise and coordinate with the state and district level health authorities in Sonipat, Haryana and Jodhpur, Rajasthan for smooth running of the project.
• Conduct GIS analysis for the project.
• Coordinate with the HR, finance and administrative staff at PHFI as needed.
• Prepare progress reports, assist in data analysis and writing of scientific papers.
