Research and Field Work

Carnegie India is inviting applications for a Research Analyst/ Senior Research Analyst to join the Political Economy program in New Delhi.

The Political Economy program studies the role of the Indian state in the economy - especially in areas such as capital and financial markets, public finance, regulatory governance, and land markets and urbanization.

Scholars in the program conduct and publish research, write regularly on contemporary issues, and organise seminars and other events on issues of contemporary relevance to the Indian political economy.

Primary Responsibilities include

 

  • The selected candidate will be expected to work full-time out of the Carnegie India office in Delhi.
  • The Research Analyst/ Senior Research Analyst will be expected to support the work of the scholars in the program, and to conduct and publish their own research on areas of interest to the program.
  • The Research Analyst/ Senior Research Analyst will also be expected to handle administrative responsibilities related to the overall functioning of the program.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Candidates with research publications will be preferred. Carnegie India will reach out only to short-listed candidates for further discussions.
