About Job Profile

Project Management/Coordination

We are looking for a candidate for the role of Field Officer with three years plus of experience in Agro social forestry projects in the State of Punjab. He should have a strong ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced and demanding environment. The candidate should be a skilled team player so that he can contribute individually.

Primary Responsibilities include

You will be responsible for Surveying, identifying, connecting, onboarding and formation of farmer group in target area;
You will be responsible for conducting training and awareness programs in field.
You will be responsible to collaborate with Central EF team and external stakeholders to develop effective strategies and execution plans, execute deliverables and analyze/evaluate results.
You will connect with external subject matter experts, local Government bodies, Agricultural and forest department, Agriculture universities to identify knowledge resources, implementing relevant government schemes, arrange external specialist visits and create network of liaisons with all such relevant institutes though execution of MoU.
You will be responsible for timely reporting, analysis of project deliverables and updating the same for efficient execution of the project.
Analyze and report any deviation in project planning and develop contingency plans to mitigate any related project risks.
Develop and initiate market linkage, identifying buyers, facilitating buyer seller meets and subsequent marketing.
You will be responsible to develop farmer groups and mobilize them to undertake livelihood activities.
You will be responsible to source saplings, arrange planting the target number of trees and monitoring data collection of these trees at specified intervals.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the project delivery.
Candidate should be able to undertake dynamic, fast paced work pressure, should be willing to travel extensively with the project site and be able to deliver against the odds.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Hands-on experience in training and awareness building of farmers, connecting with different stakeholders functional in the rural-social backdrop and executing end-to-end complex projects.
Working experience in MS Office tools like Excel, PPT, and PDF.
Good communication, and negation skills along with an eye for detail.
Command of local dialect and awareness of local social conditions, religious and social sentiments of the populace will be an added advantage.
Able to create reports, handle data and communicate over emails.
