About Job Profile

Project Management/Coordination

The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall project management and contract management and coordination under the FHM Engage project. This includes overseeing end-to-end project execution, from planning to closure. The broad details are as follows:

  • Project planning and schedule management
  • Preparing impactful presentations/ slide decks
  • Communication with key stakeholders
  • Address project implementation issues promptly and transparently.
  • Stakeholder management
  • Project documentation support
  • Monitoring and reporting project milestones and deliverables to key stakeholders
  • Ensuring high accountability and transparency with key stakeholders

Primary Responsibilities include

  • Create a comprehensive project workplan plan outlining tasks, resources, timelines in collaboration with staff and sub-recipients. Plan activities within the project's defined scope and alignthem with the objectives and timelines. 
  • Track project progress against established timelines; facilitate timely development of quarterly progress reports, identify and address delays and bottlenecks; ensure project milestones are achieved as planned.
  • Establish clear communication channels with stakeholders, team members, and clients; provide regular updates on project status; address conflicts and issues promptly.
  • Prepare impactful and engaging presentations that effectively convey complex information, engage stakeholders, and contribute to the overall success of your projects.
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders; understand their needs and expectations; manage stakeholder relationships and address concerns and feedback.
  • Support Senior Technical Specialists in meetings, workshops, conferences, and events by defining objectives, planning logistics, engaging speakers, promoting through marketing channels, ensuring technical support, and gathering attendee feedback.
  • Work closely with the Senior Technical Specialists to develop knowledge products in the forms of blogs and research articles and ensure appropriate dissemination of the knowledge products in consultation with the project team.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, reports, and communication records; create a repository of project-related information for future reference.
  • Ensure all project deliverables are completed satisfactorily; obtain formal stakeholder acceptance; conduct project reviews to capture lessons learned.
  • Travel as per the requirement of the project.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong demonstrated project and team management skills and a passion for working in the health system;
  • Self-starter with proven experience in completing projects with strong analytical skills;
  • Excellent organizational and management skills, including time management and project management;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize and manage projects under pressure;
  • Strong work ethics, humility, and integrity adhering to global standards of professionalism
