About Job Profile

Project Management/Coordination

The position holder shall be responsible to adhere & work within the ambit of Plan India’s Safeguarding Policy, Code of Conduct & Gender Equality Policies.
 

Primary Responsibilities include

Project Planning & Management :

  • Create a comprehensive project plan that outlines the scope, objectives, timeline, and resources required.
  • Capability to manage project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and control costs.
  • Identify potential project risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ensuring that the project meets the specified quality standards.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with donor and other stakeholders.
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to the project.
  • Prioritizing tasks, setting deadlines, and ensuring the project stays on schedule.
  • Support Director – Program for timely and quality project /donor reporting.
  • Promote cost-effective approaches to maximize resources.

 

Lesioning with Stakeholder :

  • Build and strengthen effective working relationships with key district level government departments and agencies particularly with SSA, Education Department, RAMSA, WCD, Social Welfare and PRI structures.
  • Coordinate and facilitate donor visits/visits of other stake holders within and out side of Plan India team to Project Areas.

 

Technical Support and capacity Building :

  • Conduct workshops for building capacity of the project team and relevant stakeholders including DIETs, DEEO,BEEOs, RPs, MTs & teachers.
  • Ensure Safeguarding policy compliance during the Programme implementation.
  • Ensure statutory requirements are adhered.
  • Contribute in developing and conducting research & studies.
  • Undertake appropriate additional responsibilities as assigned by the line manager.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Team management, planning and reporting.
  • Effective communication, both written and verbal, to convey project requirements, updates, and changes to the team and donor.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate the project team, and to make critical decisions.
  • A good understanding of the education sector, policies, model school.
