About Job Profile

Project Management/Coordination

The Project Analyst's responsibilities include supporting the project manager with overseeing and coordinating projects, contributing to project planning, preparing and maintaining documentation, reviewing contracts and financials, monitoring project activities, and evaluating the overall project.

Primary Responsibilities include

  • Provide Support for developing and implementation of effective capacity building programmes/consultations with the State Governments for achieving the objectives of the schemes ‘Support to Tribal Research Institute (TRIs)’ and scheme of Tribal Research, Information, Education, Communication and Events (TRI-ECE) as well as supporting organizing cross learning events, knowledge dissemination, capacity building workshops etc.
  • Provide technical inputs to develop digital tools and mechanisms to capture and disseminate results/findings from research/studies being undertaken by TRIs and other agencies supported by the Ministry and to assess the impact and effectiveness of allocation and utilization of resources.
  • Develop and implement e-governance strategies which includes analyzing existing systems, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing innovative solutions to enhance digital governance.
  • Provide support and facilitate in organizing Appraisal Committee meetings including review of proposals from States and other organizations / Centre for Excellences (CoEs).
  • Provide technical inputs to review and analysis of documents / data sets based on need, in connection with effective operation of the schemes and discharge of assigned responsibilities of the concerned Programme Division.
  • Contribute to the quality assurance and project management of TRIs and monitoring of e-governance projects, research projects, and innovation programs in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Render support to conceptualize research ideas in emerging areas aligned with the Ministry’s mandate, prepare concept notes, and coordinate with appropriate agencies to conduct the research.
  • Develop and execute communication strategies to raise awareness about the Ministry's initiatives, research findings, and innovative approaches. Provide support and coordinate with the Media cell to prepare and disseminate audio-visual documentation.
  • Provide support and coordinate for organization of high-level ministerial events and development of IEC materials/publications and social media posting of the Ministry.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience of working with the Central/State Government would be an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge and experience in planning, designing, monitoring and evaluation of development programmes and schemes for marginalized communities.
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to encourage and maintain gender mainstreaming will be an asset.
  • High-level of IT/computing skills (minimum: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good drafting and writing skills in English and Hindi
  • Relevant experience in documentation and preparation of reports on development issues along with experience in data management.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with the government, state/central/ ministry/ UN agencies/ multi-lateral organisations.
