About Job Profile

Project Management/Coordination

Program officers are critical to a foundation or nonprofit organization as they oversee program development, seek grants and proposals, oversee budgets, and manage projects.

Primary Responsibilities include

  • Support regular activities of the Programme Managers in the domains of Education, Livelihood, Communication & Advocacy and Humanitarian Aid.
  • Maintain MIS database.
  • Coordinate with the Zonal Program Coordinators in day-to-day activity support.
  • Prepare programme reports & documents.
  • Coordinate with aspiring S-ILF scholars and facilitate their application process.
  • Support programme team in developing livelihood proposals.
  • Identifying and providing content for stories from the field to be showcased on SILF website and social media platform.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to produce documents and reports of professional quality and coordinate activities independently.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Hindi.
  • Computer skills demonstrating competency in MS Office.
  • Willingness to travel anywhere in India.
  • Ability to network and liaise with Government Officials, Community Leaders and NGOs.
