MAMTA – Health Institute for Mother and Child (www.mamta-himc.org & www.yrshr.org) is seeking to recruit young professional for the position of Manager - Finance & Admin based at head office, Delhi

The job purposes of the Manager - Finance & Admin is to provide general accounts work and administration support for projects at Head office.
 

Primary Responsibilities include

• Responsible for general administration, local procurement and day to day accounting
• Coordinate timely accounting/ consolidation of bills/ reporting in compliance with the guidelines/ statutory requirements
• Coordinate with the program team and provide financial and operational information/ reporting/ other arrangements for the respective list of projects assigned
• Support training of project staff on project procedures and skilling them in the areas of finance and administration
• Bank voucher entries in accounting software and payments processing. Bank reconciliations of the projects specific bank accounts.
• Preparation of weekly/ monthly / quarterly reports and submission of same to donors
• Provide support in conducting financial reviews and external/ internal audits as per statutory/ organizational guidelines
• Any other duties assigned by the supervisor
• Preference will be given to local candidates

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Expertise on excel and spreadsheet
• Experience in handling the finance and admin issues preference to work with the NGO sector
• Experience of operating / working on Tally

Other Information:

Competencies:
• Knowledge on the general Financial and Administrative policies and procedures, vendor management, compliances
• Well versed with the MS Office packages, accounting packages and related software packages
• Multi-tasking
• Review of project progress (financial)
Salary :
Salary shall range between INR 40,000 to 50,000 CTC, per month and will also be corresponding with the previous drawn salary, qualification and experience.

Physical Requirements
The job may require travelling in the field for monitoring/ reporting/ training purposes.
