Project Management/Coordination

This role presents an inspiring and fulfilling opportunity for a developmental professional who envisions making a tangible difference in the lives of survivors of violence. Reporting directly to the Programme Manager, the Programme Co-ordinator will hold a pivotal role in overseeing program monitoring, output, and LFA and Result based reporting and engagement. Furthermore, they will be entrusted with the vital tasks of MIS management, seamless coordination with project partners, and meaningful engagement with survivor collectives at the grassroots level.
 
At the heart of this endeavor lies effective communication, nurturing strong bonds with both internal and external stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities include

Partnership Coordination:

- Foster relationships of trust, transparency, and mutuality with survivor collectives and their leaders.

- Build supportive relationships with grassroots NGOs partnering in the program. Foster and cultivate strong and supportive relationships with grassroots NGOs that are partnering in the program. - ---- This involves engaging in open and constructive communication, actively understanding their perspectives and needs, and providing guidance and assistance as necessary to ensure a collaborative and effective working relationship.

- Establish collaborative ties with other teams within Kamo and colleagues from other Kamonohashi Project programs.

- Develop robust partnerships with technical partners and project consultants.

Project Management:

- Assist survivor collectives in developing project documents and tools to monitor and report on their projects.

- Support partner NGOs in developing project documents and tools for effective role-taking, focusing on planning, monitoring, and reporting.

- Review and consolidate reports from survivor collectives and partner NGOs for Kamonohashi and co-financiers.

- Monitor projects, including field-level visits, to assess outcomes and support the Assistant Programme Manager in program monitoring.

- Document good practices and create knowledge projects to share with the consortium.

- Collaborate with program finance managers to assess approaches' efficiency and provide feedback to partner NGOs.

- Ensure alignment between the program and the communication portfolio.

Manage Short-Term Consultancy Projects:

-Provide assistance to the Assistant Programme Manager in program evaluations, research, and IEC developments as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Proficiency in Result-Based Management approach, program monitoring, and reporting.
- Knowledge of LFAs and project budget management and understanding about Result Based framework
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Proficient in research (qualitative, quantitative techniques), and interviewing skills.
- Experience in youth leadership programs would be an asset.
- Skilled in managing databases and information systems.
- Strong listening and communication skills, adaptable to diverse perspectives.
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities & negotiation skills.
- Language proficiency required for respective states.
- Reporting Manager: (a) Programme Manager, LN Programme. (b) Overall program guidance provided by Director – India Programme Division.
