About Job Profile

Project Management/Coordination

A Program Officer is an integral part of a foundation or nonprofit organization. It is up to Program Officers to oversee program development, seek grants and proposals, manage projects and oversee budgets.

Primary Responsibilities include

  • Provide on-demand support to ULBs/State on FSSM related work.
  • Contribute to defined activities in Uttarakhand under the project.
  • Support Senior Program Officer in executing plan of operation.
  • Regular visits to identified ULBs/cities for implementation of FSSM interventions.
  • Co-ordinate state-level learning events and exposure visits for state/ULB officials.
  • The position shall report to Programme Manager (Uttarakhand).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • At least 2 year of relevant work experience in the area of urban sanitation.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills of undertaking research, documentation, producing learning materials and reports will be an asset.
  • Prior experience in planning and rolling out capacity building activities/learning events is highly desirable.
