About Job Profile

Project Management/Coordination

The Program Coordinator of PMU will be responsible for supporting the PMU in the planning, execution, and monitoring of digitalisation of the agriculture extension management programs. You will ensure that the program is delivered on time, within budget, and meet the needs of stakeholders. You will also provide technical guidance and expertise in agriculture extension management.

Primary Responsibilities include

 

  • Support the PMU in developing and overseeing the implementation of project plans, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, within budget and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
  • Support the identification and management of project risks and issues, taking appropriate action to mitigate them.
  • Manage project risks and issues, develop mitigation plans and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure project activities comply with partners’ requirements, national policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and ensure their active participation in the project.
  • Lead the coordination and work collaboratively with project stakeholders, including government officials, community members, and other partners to ensure project success.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of project reports, including progress and financial reports.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management and committees on project progress and identify areas of improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the project and develop proposals for additional scale up to new geographies.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Strong project management skills, including experience developing project plans and budgets, and tracking project progress against milestones.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of digital tools and technologies for agriculture extension services.
  • Experience in data collection and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills.
  • Proficiency in English , Hindi and regional language of the State.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google workspace
