About Job Profile

Research and Field Work

 

  • Carnegie India is seeking 2 (two) program and research interns, with a background in public policy, law, economics, political science or related fields to work for a period of 6 (six) months starting from 1 September, 2023.
  • The interns may be assigned administrative, editorial, research, writing, or organisational tasks to provide overall support to Carnegie India's Technology and Society program. The intern will also assist scholars on ongoing projects, background research, and events. The internship will require the intern to also play a supporting role in helping organise Carnegie India's flagship summit - the Global Technology Summit

 

Primary Responsibilities include

Responsibilities:

  • May include research assistance on issues relating to artificial intelligence, biotechnology, space policy, data governance, encryption, digital privacy, FinTech, digital public infrastructure and semiconductor supply chains.
  • The ideal candidate must have:
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Strong interest in technology policy and law.
  • The ability to be an enthusiastic and creative team player while working both independently and collaboratively.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Candidates must:

  • Be a recent college/university graduate
  • Have an excellent verbal and written command of English
