In September 2022, Niti Aayog and WRI India launched the E-FAST platform – the first forum of its kind in the country that brings a collaborative attempt to decarbonize India’s road freight sector. The platform counts among its participants a network of logistics services providers, manufacturing companies, Original Equipment Providers, research organizations and other stakeholders to facilitate deliberations and address practical challenges of the industry, technology, finance and inform policy.

WRI India is seeking a Platform Manager to support its Freight vertical. The candidate will be responsible for the development, evolution and management of WRI India’s E-FAST platform. The candidate will be tasked with the responsibility to ensure that E-FAST is a reliable resource for all stakeholders in the freight ecosystem to lead decarbonization effort of the road freight sector by generating high quality research, organizing consultations, capturing and representing sentiments of the industry and the government.

Primary Responsibilities include

Execute existing functions planned under the platform activities including industry and government consultations, enterprise interactions, capacity building, etc.
Developing a roadmap of the evolution of the E-FAST platform with a focus on generating value of the participant network.
Manage and organize all digital assets of the platform including the portal, outreach, communication, etc.
Manage engagements with existing E-FAST participants, grow the participant network, and identify partnership opportunities aligned with the broader goal of the initiative.
Generate literature to demonstrate thought leadership in this space.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Experience in electrification technologies and financing mechanisms will be preferable.
Experience in working with the government, private sector, civic groups, academic and research organizations.
The candidate must be fluent in English. Fluency in other regional languages will be an added advantage.
Good writing and presentation skills. Quantitative and qualitative research capabilities is essential.
The candidate must be able to work independently and contribute to the learning of the team.
Must demonstrate a good understanding of policy making.
Proficiency in MS Office suite. Experience in spatial software, statistical programming languages and data visualization tools will be an added advantage.
