Monitoring, Evaluation and Assessment

The USAID/PepsiCo Global Development Alliance (GDA) “Investing in Women to Strengthen Supply Chains” is a global partnership that aims to make the business case for women’s economic empowerment (WEE) in agricultural supply chains. USAID and PepsiCo are working together to strengthen women’s agricultural skills and access to resources within PepsiCo’s supply chains to demonstrate the value of women’s contributions to core business and impact goals.

The partnership aims to ensure that women – as farmers or workers – benefit from being directly or indirectly involved within PepsiCo’s supply chains while also being empowered within their households and communities. Together, the partners will provide evidence-based models, new on-farm approaches, and data and insights to make a practical and compelling business case for scaling investments in WEE within PepsiCo and other global companies.

The GDA’s Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) enables the project to capture key performance and impact data, which will drive the business case. The GDA has a robust Activity Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Plan (AMELP) that describes how the program intends to measure and evaluate the program performance over the life of the project and how to make the business case for WEE as the main goal of the project.

Resonance is hiring a MEL Specialist to support the expanding GDA program in India.  This staff member will support the project MEL Advisor with monitoring, evaluation, and learning especially data collection, analysis, and reporting based on the project indicators.

This is a full-time position based in Uttar Pradesh, India, reporting to the India GDA Country Manager with technical accountability to the US-based GDA MEL Advisor.
