About Job Profile

Project Management/Coordination

The primary responsibility is to strategize, implement, and accomplish marketing initiatives that align with the UK in India policy goals and country plan, while also ensuring effective stakeholder management. Additionally, taking charge of planning and delivering events in Delhi and other locations around the India network.

Primary Responsibilities include

 

  •     Responsible for overseeing events from inception to execution, including evaluation. Collaborating with wider comms team, providing guidance to policy leads regarding event themes, production, and flow to optimize audience turnout and engagement. Manage events budgets and timelines.
  •     Maintain close collaboration with event and design contractors to ensure cost-effectiveness, monitor their work, and assess their performance for each event. Additionally, conduct long-term evaluations based on agreed conditions to gauge their overall effectiveness.
  •     Guarantee adherence to brand guidelines and provide expert advice to the HMG network regarding campaign best practices. Aid in gathering brand audit data across both print and digital platforms.
  •     Oversee and support the creation of marketing collateral such as, letterheads, posters, brochures/ flyers, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations (PPTs), and digital collaterals. Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all materials.
  •     Establishing enduring and strategic relationships and partnerships with crucial stakeholders, both within and outside the organization, to foster long-term sustainability and collaboration.
  •     Implementing environmentally conscious practices throughout the event planning and execution process. This includes minimizing waste, promoting recycling, sourcing sustainable materials, encouraging energy efficiency, and incorporating eco-friendly initiatives to reduce the event's overall environmental impact.
  •     Stay updated on current marketing and events trends, market dynamics, other successful campaigns, and share best practices with broader Marketing and communication team. Custodian of India network event guidance and  checklist documents.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  •     Prior experience of working in an international, multicultural organisation.
  •     Degree in Marketing Management.
  •     Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite.

The work of a diplomatic mission can be unusual, and the subject matter can range from trade and investment, to defence and security to education and visas. The jobholder should be able to hit the ground running, learning quickly about a wide range of issues.

The job holder may be called upon to support the wider marketing and communications team when necessary, so a degree of flexibility is required.
