ERM is seeking a motivated and dynamic team member to join our growing India Corporate Sustainability Strategy & Disclosure team. This position will be based in our Gurgaon, Kolkata, Bangalore, Mumbai, or Ahmedabad office. In this role, you will primarily focus on delivering high-quality client work. Typical client engagements include conducting materiality assessments, writing sustainability reports, responding to ESG (environmental, social and governance) ratings and rankings, and setting sustainability goals.

As our ideal candidate, you will have broad experience in corporate sustainability/ESG strategy, reporting and disclosure, and project management, with a proven record of helping companies design sustainability/ESG strategies, deliver sustainability/ESG reporting, and realize benefits through sustainability program implementation. You will have the opportunity to work with and support a first-class delivery team across India, with exposure to a global client base.

Primary Responsibilities include

 

  •     Technically lead discussions with client and internal stakeholders on ESG, Climate Change and related domains.
  •     Lead corporate sustainability/ESG strategy, reporting and disclosure projects delivery
  •     Design solutions/proposals as per the client’s requirements and expectations
  •     Manage a team of 2-3 analysts and researchers
  •     Support senior team members in client management and sales.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills, excellent writing and presentation skills, and a mastery of PowerPoint communication
  • Demonstrated expertise relating to our core service areas of sustainability strategy
  • A thorough understanding of ESG standards and guidelines such as SASB, GRI, TCFD, DJSI, CDP
  • Experience in ESG strategy, materiality assessments, ESG ratings/rankings methodologies, sustainability reporting, and/or data management approaches for ESG metrics.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to deliver high-quality work products
  • Alignment with ERM’s Mission, Vision and Values.
