Fundraising and Partnerships

Resource Mobilization and fund-raisings (MRM & FR) strategic needs at SHAPE India. Manager - Resource Mobilization and Fund-raising (MRM & FR) is a strategically important function at SHAPE India. The MRM post is for the growth and sustainability of the organization so that organization can achieve the objective and targets of SHAPE India.
 

Primary Responsibilities include

 

  • Building and nurturing SHAPE India relationships with diverse donors segments including Foundations, Corporate, CSR Trusts, Philanthropists, and Philanthropic Foundations, both domestic and international.
  • Should be able to make presentations to the corporate and institutions on the activities of SHAPE India.
  • Should be able to identify the donors, study the CSR policies of different corporate and approach.
  • Ensuring the maintenance of accurate and comprehensive fund-raising strategy, records and reports;
  • Managing routine MIS reporting on fund-raising status, activities, achievements, and plans and submit to the Secretary General of the SHAPE India.
  • Working closely with other teams at SHAPE India to take support from them for business development and fund raising.
  • Building and maintaining current knowledge of the Fund-Raising marketplace through analysis and research on a continuous basis;
  • Develop and nurture effective donor communication to build long-lasting relationships through regular reports, presentations and meetings.
  • Work closely with the program team toward developing proposals, concept notes, and pitch decks.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Market knowledge and understanding of the fund-raising space.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written; an ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of individuals and personalities across levels, sectors and disciplines.
  • Strong online research and database management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other relevant software tools; proficiency in the use of digital and all social media.
