About Job Profile

Project Management/Coordination

As a Manager at Qmark International Certifications Private Limited, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission of promoting organic farming and PGS-India Certification. Manager will be responsible for managing the certification process, ensuring compliance with organic standards, and providing guidance to local groups and farmers.

Primary Responsibilities include

  • PGS-India Certification: Oversee the entire PGS-India certification process, from documentation to field inspections, ensuring that all standards and guidelines are met.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with local farmer groups, officials of govt. agencies to facilitate organic certification and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all certification-related activities, including report writing and keeping track records.
  • Training: Organize and conduct training sessions for farmers and stakeholders on organic farming practices and certification requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to maintain the integrity of the certification process and uphold the reputation of Qmark International Certifications.
  • Report Preparation: Prepare quality monthly, quarterly and annual reports under different projects and schemes.
  • Market Linkage: Explore and establish market linkages for certified organic produce, supporting local farmers in accessing markets.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Graduate/Post Graduate in Agriculture with a minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience of working in projects/company/organization related with Organic Certification. Freshers form North Eastern Region are encourage to apply.
  • Good knowledge in presenting reports and database management systems with generating analytical reports from databases.
  • Strong writing skills in English and knowledge of organic farming practices, standards, and documentation.
  • Candidates having work experience in organic certification processes, preferably under the PGS-India Certification system shall be preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team.
  • Good command in speaking, reading and writing skills in English
  • Proficient skills and experience in working on MS office.
  • Proficiency in regional languages is a plus.
