About Job Profile

Project Management/Coordination

The Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing partnerships with host organizations, as well as providing support and guidance to the fellows' projects.

This role requires a structured working style, strong project management skills, and the ability to mentor and support fellows in their leadership journeys.

The Manager will also be responsible for maintaining regular communication with partner host organizations, creating reports, and supporting the team in curriculum development, training camps, outreach, and selection processes.

Primary Responsibilities include

 

  •     Manage partnerships with host organizations, ensuring strong collaboration and mutually beneficial relationships. Ensure smooth communication and coordination between fellows and partner host organizations to establish suitable work environments and facilitate effective project implementation.
  •     Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to fellows in their project planning, implementation, and overall leadership development. Foster an environment of innovation and idea generation, helping fellows refine their project ideas and connect with relevant resources and networks.
  •     Facilitate project planning by assisting fellows in defining project goals, objectives, and strategies.
  •     Support the team in curriculum development for the Sewa Fellowship program, ensuring alignment with project objectives and leadership development needs.
  •     Assist in organizing and facilitating training camps, workshops, and other learning activities for fellows with logistical support, resource people recommendations, and identification of learning needs for the fellows.
  •     Contribute to outreach and selection processes by participating in program outreach, candidate interviews, reviewing applications, and providing input for candidate evaluations.
  •     Create reports on project progress, outcomes, and impact, incorporating data and insights gathered from fellows and partner host organizations.
  •     Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within allocated resources.
  •     Stay updated with current trends, best practices, and relevant research in the social development sector, particularly related to partnerships and project management.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Proven experience in managing partnerships, projects, or programs in the social development sector.

Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively mentor and support fellows, as well as collaborate with partner host organizations.

Structured working style with attention to detail and ability to manage complex workflows.

Willingness to travel extensively for meetings, site visits, and project-related activities.

Proficiency in report writing, data analysis, and project evaluation.

Familiarity with any fellowship program, non-profit sector and understanding of social development issues
