• The position will be based at District HQ Patna as mentioned above and require close coordination with state program implementation team for roll out of newer contraceptives.
• Provide techno managerial support for data collection, analyses, interpretation for progress review, program performance and course correction through partnership with state government.
• Lead the process of developing a program management information system (PMIS) to document systematically all the program activities and progress of the program.
• Lead the process of conducting facility level assessments, capturing training data, monitoring quality of service delivery of two newer contraceptives and responsible for maintaining two datasets for the program-provider and client database.
• Develop FAQs and materials for facilitating the coaching and mentoring sessions for district health officials and facility level staffs for data recording processes, formats and analysis and understanding of data.
• Make frequent visits to health facilities, medical college and district Hospital to observe implementation of newer contraceptives, identify gaps and address challenges by all four districts.
• Responsible for developing processes for capturing client’s data for both Implant and MPA-SC clients through government sponsored helpline number. This analysis of client’s data from helpline will be helpful to conduct refresher training of providers and re-orientation of frontline workers for effective community mobilization.
• This position will also be responsible for conducting a mixed method study combining both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies for answering some learning questions on understanding the implementation challenges, understanding exposure to awareness generation campaign, acceptability of the newer contraceptive method, duration of use, side effects experienced, level of satisfaction with the method and reasons for discontinuation.
• Support in providing monitoring dashboard to plan, organize, and participate in monthly and quarterly meetings with state and city NHM leadership teams to discuss the status of project implementation.
• Responsible for compiling data and results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis for donor reporting.
• Any other task assigned by the organization and supervisor has to be accomplished.
