Designation: Manager/Sr. Manager, Business Engagement - CSR Consulting

1. End to end ownership for one or multiple client engagements, including project delivery, relationship management and team management. 

2. Support, advise and consult with senior CSR decision makers across sectors on CSR strategy, CSR implementation, M&E, compliance, effective usage of technology for CSR effectiveness and more 

3. Some engagements may need the Give Grants team to function as an extended CSR team for the client, responsible for implementation of the CSR strategy approved by the client CSR committee. 

a. Complete ownership and accountability for annual financial budget creation, program selection, annual action plan creation, monitoring and evaluation, compliance management, employee engagement, brand engagement and any other aspect related to the CSR function 

b. Primary point of contact for the leadership team, other business heads, accounting and finance, as well as implementation partners 

c. Contribute to formulation of the CSR strategy, and long term impact goals and ensure alignment with the business strategy 

d. Developing impact frameworks and Key Performance Matrix across all projects 

e. Managing impact reporting through Non-profits and leading quarterly reporting to the Board 

f. Lead internal coordination across HR, Marketing and business teams to engage with employees (volunteering, employee giving, events etc.)
and to ensure that CSR contributes effectively to the larger branding objectives. 

g. Manage project budgets, disbursements and financial utilization tracking. 

4. Lead a 2–4-member team with ownership for hiring, training and career growth. 

5. Ensure CSR and financial compliance across all engagements. Engage with auditors and compliance teams through the year. 

6. Develop a strong hands-on understanding of the Give Grants CSR management tech platform and use it effectively across engagements, wherever relevant. High degree of comfort with quantitative data will be essential. 
 

1. Prior experience in business consulting firms, CSR consulting firms, NGOs, social enterprises would be an added advantage 

2. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with CXOs, board members and senior executives 

3. Expert level comfort with data analysis, data visualization, project management and presentation tools 

4. Comfortable with a target driven, performance-oriented environment that can often demand stretch hours 

5. Strong interest in the social development sector, and a desire to influence CSR decisions for greater impact.
