About Job Profile

The Lead will be responsible for designing and implementing an engagement strategy for scholars supported by Bring Smiles Scholarships.

Primary Responsibilities include

  • Designing and implementing a multi-channel engagement and support strategy for scholars who are supported by Bhumi’s scholarship programme, providing nurturing care during all stages of engagement with them.
  • Enabling internal and external collaborations aligned with Bhumi’s goal of enabling sustainable livelihoods, in this case for scholars supported by scholarships.
  • Collaborating and coordinating with internal teams to document stories of impact/change
  • Leveraging technology to drive automation, efficiency and timeliness of all scholar communication.
  • Engaging volunteers to implement the engagement and communication plan for scholars and building a community of volunteers and volunteer leaders with a passion to take the programme forward.
  •  Adapting and updating the scholar communication strategy based on changing needs.
  • Engaging with alumni of the scholarships programme, and building a community of beneficiaries.
  • Keeping a pulse on the experience of scholars through the scholarship process, and share feedback/suggestions for improvement to the programme team, as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Ability to invest in stakeholders and build partnerships
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of spoken Tamil is preferred.
  • Data analysis and interpretation. Competent to proficient level command over MS Excel.
  • Emotional maturity to make rational decisions
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Highly resourceful team player, who is self-driven and readily assumes ownership.
  • Forward-looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
