About Job Profile

Communication/Information Management

 We are looking for a self-managed, self-starter, systematic, and hard-working professional to work with us for a period of six months who is a good team player with a flair for creativity, passion for strengthening civil society, and willingness to work in the development sector.

Primary Responsibilities include

· Provide support in content creation and developing marketing materials like flyers, blog posts, newsletters, and social media posts for brand-building.
· Work towards expanding outreach, building a database, and generating fresh leads.
· Achieve higher conversions through relationship-building and genuine engagement.
· Provide support in developing reports/manuals/online courses.
· Coordination activities and communications on behalf of the organization.
· Assist in organizing workshops/training including event management.
· Any other assignment that may be assigned on a need basis.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and equivalents like Google Docs and spreadsheets
·  Working knowledge of designing tools like Canva, Adobe Illustrator, etc.
·  Effective communication & writing skills.

However, many civil society organizations especially those at the grassroots need support in organization building, leadership development, and acquiring skills for social innovation, advocacy, and fundraising to tackle the structurally rooted causes of poverty and hunger to impart food, nutrition, and livelihood security. In addition, currently, a void exists in terms of the capacities of CSOs and NGOs to plan, implement and measure the impact of development programs in India. This demands systematic and high-quality training of civil society actors at the grassroots.
