This unique fellowship offers young professionals a platform to improve the lives of women and children in India through technology-based innovation. ARMMAN is developing an innovation process that is human-centered, data-driven and evidence-based, leveraging emerging technologies such as AI / Machine Learning and Large Language Models to make our programs more engaging and effective.

Innovation Fellows will spend eighteen months to two years at ARMMAN, and support the innovation process from end to end. As an Innovation Fellow, you will use research and analysis to help identify specific problems to solve, evaluate opportunities, find useful data and evidence, support solution design and development, prepare presentations and concept notes to share learnings and insights with internal and external audiences, and help drive various projects.

You will collaborate with external partners including technology leaders, academics and nonprofits. Internally, you will get to work closely with public health professionals, program implementation experts, engineers, designers, and researchers. You will also be an early member of the innovation team at ARMMAN, and will report to the Director of Product & Innovation.

Primary Responsibilities include

  • Understand new developments and best practices in the digital health space as well as the latest technologies that can be leveraged for our programs (e.g., AI/ML, LLMs, etc) through primary and secondary research.
  • Pull together landscape analysis studies, concept notes, presentations, and analytical models.
  • Analyze program and pilot data to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct qualitative user research, through field visits and surveys, to build in the voice of users into the innovation process.
  • Support leadership by helping manage innovation partnerships and special projects.
  • Define and shape the culture and optimal processes for the product & innovation team.

  • Willingness and ability to travel and stay in various states.
