• Conduct research on funding opportunities, potential donors, and other grant-making organizations
• Write grant proposals, program narratives, and other required documents
• Submit grant proposals within timelines to funding organizations and foundations interested to fund Indian NGOs
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all grant proposals, submissions, and outcomes
• Work with program staff to develop proposals that align with the organization’s goals and objectives
• Ensure compliance with all grant requirements and regulations
• Develop and maintain relationships with potential funders and other stakeholders
• Write reports and updates for funders on the progress and outcomes of funded programs

• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills

Working Conditions:
• Grant Writers typically works in an office environment, although remote work may be possible for exceptional candidates. They may need to work irregular hours to meet deadlines and attend meetings or events outside of regular business hours. Grant Writers may need to travel to meet with potential funders or attend conferences or events.
