About Job Profile

Support and office management

• Complete a comprehensive gender analysis including facilitating consultations with women, men, girls and boys to identify strengths and weaknesses in relation to the program’s approach to gender equity.
• In consultation with CDOT project team, conduct a Disability Inclusion Analysis
• Conduct a GEDSI Training Needs Assessment across CDOT staff and CHFs and develop training package to respond to these needs

Primary Responsibilities include

• Provide capacity-building, training and mentoring on best practice-approaches and emerging issues relating to gender equality, disability and social inclusion to CDOT staff, Community Health Facilitators, community members and other stakeholders.
• Develop GEDSI tools and frameworks to support inclusive implementation of the program, in consultation with women’s groups and Disabled People’s Organisations (DPOs)
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure a GEDSI lens is applied to all stages of the project cycle including scoping, design and budgeting, implementation, monitoring, reporting and evaluation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to CDOT internal operations including gender mainstreaming across all levels of the organization
• Review and update CDOT policies and procedures through a GEDSI lens

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience working with a variety of stakeholders and partners related to gender equality and women’s empowerment, Governments and civil society organizations, in a development context required, preferably in the region required.
