About Job Profile

Fundraising and Partnerships

Developing and executing fundraising strategies.

Fostering ongoing relationships with donors.

Providing updates or checking in with regular or recurring supporters.

Planning and hosting fundraising events.

Primary Responsibilities include

 

  • Exploring new fundraising avenues (CSR/Institutional/Individual)
  • To cultivate a network of dedicated donors
  • Strategize and successfully execute fundraising campaigns
  • Grant/Proposal Application
  • Relationship management with donors
  • Exploring other collaborations (NGO and other brand tie-ups) and fundraising activities
  • Manage a budget & track whether goals are being met
     

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office
  • Experience in writing grant proposals
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in comms, business or related field
  • Competent with Microsoft Office and MIS
  • Ability to work with diversity and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

About Organisation

Genesis Foundation facilitates medical treatment for critically ill under-privileged children suffering with Congenital Heart Defects (CHD). The support required in the said critical illness varies from specific surgeries (including neonatal), Cath Lab Interventions, along with recovery and recuperation post surgery. 

We Save Little Hearts. 

The children supported by the Foundation belong to families with an income of Rs 20,000 or lesser per month, and the parents and caregivers are unable to afford treatment of these children.

GF is registered under Section 12-A and 80-G of the Income Tax Act, which entitles 50% tax exemption. GF is also registered under FCRA allowing it to receive foreign funds.
