About Job Profile

Fundraising and Partnerships

Develop strategies to encourage new or increased contributions. Recruit sponsors, participants, or volunteers for fundraising events. Direct or supervise fundraising staff, including volunteer staff members. Secure commitments of participation or donation from individuals or corporate donors.

Primary Responsibilities include

 

  • Identify and research suitable new prospects – foreign foundations, corporates and high-net worth individuals for LLF and cultivate relationships on behalf of the organization.
  • Manage the end-to-end fundraising cycle with each prospective donor: Identifying high-value, prospective donors, initiating leads, calls and meetings, making presentations, writing proposals and closing agreements.
  • Maintain relationships with existing donors and respond to their requests regularly and keep updating them about LLF’s work.
  • Collaborate with the LLF team to draft proposals, applications, reports, and updates for current and prospective supporters.
  • End-to-end anchoring of the grant application process, creating appropriate material for proposals and fundraising in general, with support and contribution from LLF staff where required.
  • Review and develop communication materials including website, brochures, infographics and other print and digital collateral material, as required.
  • Experience in social media marketing (Twitter, LinkedIn) and Online campaigns.
  • Represent LLF at all appropriate forums
  • Any other task mutually agreed on with Director Fundraising and Partnerships.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Experience of working with a wide range of funders - including high net worth individuals, foundations and CSR roles will be considered as relevant background.
  • Good track record of maintaining key donor relationships as well as establishing new partnerships.
  • Ability to craft compelling opportunities for a wide range of potential supporters.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • This position will report to the Associate Director - Fundraising & Partnership and will require 10 to 15% travel per month on an average.
