About Job Profile

Project Management/Coordination

The position is full time based in Alirajpur, Barwani and Jhabua of Madhya Pradesh. The Field Coordinator shall work under the overall guidance of the District Consultant. The Field coordinator is required to involve in execution of the project at the district level and shall undertake overall planning, coordination, and execute field activities in targeted Healthcare Facilities (HCFs) and villages on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and Climate Change and Environment Sustainability (CCES).
 

Primary Responsibilities include

 

  • To Coordination with Gram Panchayat level stakeholders to plan and execute WASH-CCES and Infection Prevention Control (IPC) activities.
  • He/she should Undertake baseline assessment and rapid assessment of WASH-CCES, IPC and waste management in targeted HCFs and Gram Panchayats.
  • Organize village and block level trainings of stakeholders on WASH-CCES and waste management.
  • Handhold targeted GPs in ODF plus components ensuring source segregation of waste and scientific treatment of Solid and Liquid Waste and develop model GPs for wider replication.
  • Awareness generation on WASH-CCES, source segregation of waste and decentralized waste management among the rural communities in targeted GPs.
  • Organize GP level trainings for Village Water and Sanitation Committees (VWSCs) on ODF plus components and their roles and responsibilities.
  • Handhold the GPs to develop sustainable model of waste management with focus on revenue generation and circular economy.
  • Work in close collaboration with block and GP to plan and execute the project activities and report to District Consultant on project progress.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Excellent writing, and oral communication skills are required in Hindi and English.
  • Operational proficiency in MS Office, Internet etc.
  • Understanding on community mobilization and rural settings.
