About Job Profile

Support and office management

We are looking for a self-motivated and innovative social development professional with a post graduate qualification with minimum 5 years of work experience and demonstrated commitment to serving women, children and youth to work in our target communities. The successful candidate with preferably have a strong academic and employment back-ground in education, training and youth development programs with emphasis on gender equality.

Primary Responsibilities include

Communication of ideas; visually and verbally.
Updating project proposal descriptions including, background situation, need assessment, baseline, log-frame, metrics, progress indicators, means of measuring progress and etc.
Reporting observations and suggesting adjustments for program improvement and development in close interaction with programs and program staff.
Establishing, populating and monitoring a recipient’s data base.
Establishing periodic and cumulative metrics across all projects.
Extracting reports/interviews/images from field work and ensuring timely delivery of reporting needs for back-donors and social platforms.
The successful candidate will work closely with our director in the development of and day to day management of programs and organizational tasks.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Highly proficient in English and Hindi (Tamil would also be an advantage).
Highly proficient in financial reporting, tracking and monitoring expenditure.
Ability to provide project updates for web and social platforms.
Ability to interview and write stories direct from the field and field officers and translate to English.
Excellent communication and people skills.
A keen interest in travelling to projects to monitor and interact with project recipients in the field.
