Project Management/Coordination

The role involves overseeing the implementation of community programmes and initiatives in a specific jurisdictional area, which is known as a district. These professionals typically work for government agencies, non-profit organisations or private companies.

They are responsible for managing resources and ensuring community programmes are effective, and efficient. District coordinators are often responsible for tasks such as managing budgets, coordinating staff, monitoring programme outcomes and engaging with community leaders.

One of their primary roles is to ensure programmes and initiatives address the specific needs of the communities they serve. This effort requires a nuanced understanding of local and cultural contexts. It also relies on the ability to build relationships with community members, businesses, political leaders and different organisations. District coordinators often use their positions to identify and address community development, public health, education and social services issues.

Primary Responsibilities include

1. Training and Coordinating with BCs and ensuring assigned targets.
2. Accountability for BCA identification and Deployment and its proper functioning.
3. Responsible for support to BCAs on technical aspects.
4. Interaction and relationship building with Banks and TSPs
5. Documentation of BCA appointment, Bank letters, Current details of the mandate, and any other document.
6. Collection of Security Deposits & other payments as prescribed by CDOT.
7. Monitoring BCs on daily basis and reporting the progress to the Area Coordinator/HO.
8. Execution of any other responsibilities given by HO
9. To monitor BCA in targets completion given by banks and also for smooth day to day operations.
