a)    The Director, Accounts & Finance will be responsible for the organizational accounts and financial management on a day-to-day basis and ensuring all statutory compliance.
Reviewing accounts procedures including the books of accounts, bank balances reconciliation, payroll
b)    Lead accounts team, inspire and build capacity of team to address the needs of the growing organization
c)    Work in close collaboration with Hasiru Dala’s Program Directors and Managers to ensure smooth finance management to facilitate budgeting and program implementation.
d)    Monitoring of cash inflow and outflow of the funds in various projects, and its fund management, Creating Monthly MIS of complete finances of the organization and be available for Executive Director, Trustees and program Directors and Managers.
e)    Be current with the Trust compliance for Labour, IT, FCRA and other legal obligation of Trust
f)    Prepare accounts books and work with internal and external Auditors and other support organization to make sure of accounts procedures and compliance
g)    Work on strengthening accounts and other policies of the organization.
h)    Build capacities of all team members of the organization regularly to follow account practices
 

1.    Demonstrated knowledge and experience of computerized accounting systems and usage of ERP version of Tally software.
2.    Sound and substantive knowledge of Income Tax, FCRA and other laws and statutory requirements relevant for the functioning of a non-profit organization.
3.    Experience in providing intensive technical and capacity building support to the staff on financial management, organizational development and legal issues
4.    Strong skills in computer usage - including Microsoft Office software, especially MS Excel.
5.    Good command over English, particularly in developing budget justification and utilization reports, and stakeholder correspondence.
6.    Good communication skills in English (spoken and written) and Kannada language (spoken). Knowledge of other southern Indian language would be an advantage.
7.    Willingness to travel to different Hasiru Dala Offices as and when required.
8.    Ability to work independently and as a team player in a complex, multicultural environment, with demonstrated leadership, communication, networking and presentation capabilities.
