The Development Manager will be responsible for managing and growing the organization's business development efforts, sales operations and expanding nonprofit program and CSR activities in the assigned region.

Primary Responsibilities include

  • Drive various program strategies and operations of the Solar Village Project in the designated territories.
  • Hire, train, and develop teams to conduct site surveys, stakeholder outreach, and other essential functions.
  • Achieve program milestones, ensuring consistent progress in the designated region based on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as per the company’s process and policies.
  • Manage daily operations, ensuring that teams meet their daily, monthly, and yearly targets aligned with the organization’s objectives.
  • Engage with local communities, schools, and clinics, ensuring their energy and sustainability needs are met.
  • Lead initiatives for scholarship program management and ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure timely feedback and reporting mechanisms are in place for regular updates to the Project Head.
  • Continuously refine strategies based on feedback, market research, and on-ground realities.
  • Provide feedback on emerging trends in sustainable energy, community needs, and stakeholder preferences to refine the organization's approach and strategies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong business development and program management background with experience leading teams.
  • Ability to multitask and manage various project elements simultaneously.
  • Minimum 3 years of operational field experience with emphasis on community engagement and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to identify, engage, and collaborate with key community entities such as schools and clinics.
  • Demonstrated proactive approach and business ownership attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Hindi.
  • Dynamic and versatile in operational standards, with the ability to conduct market research and adapt to evolving environmental and community needs.
