About Job Profile

Support and office management

Deputy managers often perform a supervisory or team-leading role. They undertake performance management for team members and assign each employee goals and tasks. They may be responsible for planning and organising project processes, strategies and methodologies.

Primary Responsibilities include

For Employability projects: Regular and close monitoring, strategic social mobilization, ensures quality of  the training and achieves the placement target through NGOs partners. Reporting, documentation and MIS  update, close review and take corrective actions. 

For Disability Projects: Regular monitoring, organizing teacher training sessions, bringing in innovations,  providing opportunities to children and engaging in cross learning with other locations. 

  • Identification, assessment, and complete due diligence of new NGOs to take on board to implement TMF  projects in the area of employability and Education. 
  • Collect project proposals well within time, as per TMF guideline, from all the new and ongoing NGOs  partners, review and negotiate the budget to align the proposed program activities/output and budget as  per TMF norms and guidelines, prepare executive summaries and submit to the location manager. 
  • Maintain contact details and relations with important government and non-government functionaries,  maintain a regular communication and bilateral relation with all the implementing partners, provide  programmatic support, regular visits of the projects for overall program monitoring etc. 
  • Overall finance management, carry out quarterly finance monitoring visits, prepare report and share with  NGOs partners, take corrective actions for proper fund utilization, collect quarterly UC as per guideline and  timeline for monitoring and evaluation purposes, conduct annual audit and capacity building of the NGOs  partners for overall finance management.
  • Organize capacity building workshop for NGOs partners and their staff to build capacity to run and manage  partner projects properly. On job support to strengthen their capacity and develop understanding on the  programe and finance management. 
  • Work in close coordination with senior leaders of Tech Mahindra Limited to facilitate, coordinate and  support to organize various events and activities including volunteering activities, celebrating events etc.  and to develop relations with Tech Mahindra Associates and Leaders, invite and motivate them to actively  participate in the CSR projects and activities. 
  • Ensure overall branding and visibility within and outside of the company through various  activities/events/visibility materials etc. and represent TMF at various platforms. 
  • Carry out volunteering activities with Tech Mahindra employees in the community for various causes and  ensure maximum involvement of the volunteers from company and from community both. ? To conduct market research to assess employment opportunities in the area and in the surrounding cities,  area scanning and identify suitable places to start new projects. 
  • Conduct research and assessment to start other projects, preferably in education with government primary  schools, in the city. 
  • Collect, compile, and maintain reports/data and all other required inputs for various reports and regular  communication products for internal and external communication. 
  • Networking with employers and creating new connects for placementsupport. 
  • Working in close coordination with TMF Academy teams and find avenues to collaborate and work together as and when possible. 
  • Team Management & coordination. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • A self-starter with excellent programme management, monitoring and evaluation skills. 
  • Passionate about making a difference. 
  • Strong value of integrity and trust. 
  • Ability to plan and organize meetings, events, volunteering activities etc. 
  • Good understanding of social development sector works and issues. 
  • Good communication skill, both written and verbal, report writing, proficiency in MS Word, Excel,  Power Points, and presentation. 
  • Open for work travel. 
  • Candidates from Bangalore or surrounding areas will be given a preference.
