About Job Profile

Develop department and organizational goals and monitor progress toward them. Manage the financial budget and expenses of the department, cutting costs where needed. Collaborate with other executive members regarding departmental needs.

Primary Responsibilities include

  • S/he will be responsible for the success of the knowledge management (KM) framework implemented across SJY immersion site operations and will drive continuous improvement of this framework in collaboration with key stakeholders and the ILE team members.
  • Development of Knowledge products under SJY-ILE programme in Bihar will be supervised by the candidate.
  • S/he will be responsible for developing learning notes on program components, brochure on JEEVIKA & SJY, short videos, impact stories, voices from the field, best practices, SJY programme participant’s case study, CBO profile etc.
  • Development of quarterly, interim and annual report on SJY ILE.
  • To ensure that all learning-exchange visits is being successfully implemented as per schedule and standards.
  • Lead and manage the communications resources including communications consultants, external vendors such as the graphic design agency, the webmaster, technical editors, proofreaders, photographers, videographers, printers and translators.
  • S/he will represent the ILE PMU to accompany every visiting group to the field visit points.
  • Represent PMU for liaison, interface, review and knowledge sharing with different visiting teams, partners and other stakeholders.
  • The role will require frequent travel to interior areas in Bihar, travel to different states and occasional international travel in future.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written command in English and Hindi. Any other international language skill even at basic level like Spanish, French, etc. might be an added advantage although not essential.
  • Sound knowledge of workshop & learning events management.
  • Adequate knowledge of MS-office, program reporting, quarterly reporting to Government & funding agencies and command over excel, power point and budget management.
  • Prior experience of working in large-scale women empowerment programme, skills development programme in India or most preferred in Bihar.
  • Experience of coordinating and supporting case study, learning note, annual / quarterly report, project concept note etc. development, conducting learning events, workshops, event management, exposure visit etc.
  • Knowledge about JEEViKA and community institutions would be considered a great asset.
