• Experience in the design, implementation, and management of donor-funded projects, preferably with USAID.
• Ability to scope and plan interventions in response to changing contexts and conditions, in close coordination with USAID.
• Experience dealing with government institutions and managing complex international donor-funded development activities in challenging environments (USAID experience preferred)
• Proven record of building teams and fostering collaboration with diverse stakeholders to achieve project goals, meet project milestones, and produce quality project results.
• Long-standing experience in India in the areas of health systems strengthening, integrated primary healthcare approaches etc.
• Experience in maintaining high-level relationships with government officials and guiding discussion and technical direction.
• Ability to engage and build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders in a manner respectful of local culture and customs.
• Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required.
