About Job Profile

Monitoring, Evaluation and Assessment

The primary purpose of the Deputy Chief Executive Officer position is to work with the CEO to define and implement the philosophy, vision, mission, and strategy for the organization, and to lead, inspire, and empower the employees of Score Foundation, ensuring effective and efficient organization, policy and management. The Deputy CEO will be reporting directly to the CEO.
 

Primary Responsibilities include

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proficiency in effective management, encompassing strategic planning, resource mobilization, administrative expertise, adept project implementation and monitoring, and people management.
• Demonstrated capabilities in leading and collaborating within teams, fostering motivation, and nurturing peak team performance.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for articulating strategies, delivering progress updates, and engaging with stakeholders.
• Ability to secure and allocate resources efficiently, a vital skill for the organization's growth.
• A deep understanding and sensitivity towards disability-related matters, reflecting Score Foundation's commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
• While not mandatory, prior work experience in the disability domain is advantageous.

Score Foundation was registered in 2002 as a non-profit trust to work for the visually impaired. We believe that the problem is not with the eye but with the mindset. The idea behind setting up Score was to change the mindset of people towards vision impairment and in the process, initiate a conversation on how to lead a Life with Blindness.
