About Job Profile

Fundraising and Partnerships

This will include drafting and submitting applications, developing fundraising relationships and meeting partner requirements. The post holder will also be required to support with and attending fundraising events with the purpose of networking and relationship building.

Primary Responsibilities include

 

  • Promoting the elder cause and HelpAge India’s work among Corporate India
  • Target achievement as per the organization’s objectives on Corporate Fundraising to ensure a sustained inflow of funds for HI through new and existing corporate partners.
  • Sensitisation of corporates towards their Corporate Social Responsibility obligations
  • Study donor trends and identify attributes & expectations.
  • Conduct research to identify and maintain a strong database of potential donors from corporate, SME, foundations and PSU (CRM, CSR and employee engagements).
  • Corporate Outreach Activities (Emailing, LinkedIn search, calls, etc.)
  • Assist the Management in devising effective fundraising strategies.
  • Assist and suggest programs for attracting donors and creating a brand image for the organization.
  • Manage a proposal cycle end-to-end (Liaison with program and other teams).
  • Attend networking events and webinars.
  • Manage relevant reporting of management and financial information for the marketing
  • Donor Relationship Management includes timely donor reporting, engagements and support for project visits, volunteering for corporates, HNI, or any other potential donors.
  • Support All India Resource Mobilisation Team (HO & States) in donor support activities.
  • Ensure corporate donor management processes such as CRM entries, tax exemptions, certificates, etc.
  • Liase and follow-up with States for CFR pipelines, proposal supports, etc.
  • Incumbent would partake other responsibilities which are not mentioned above but are commensurate with this role in the charitable sector.
  • Support and uphold the elder cause in daily life.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Empathetic towards social causes.
  • Should have excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Should have excellent networking skills.
  • Self-driven & independent execution.
  • Should have well-developed quantitative and analytical abilities.
  • Should have good knowledge of CSR laws in India.
